My Story
Dr. H. D. Bobb Jr. was born and raised in a small town of 7000 in the Midwest. First job was flipping pizzas at the local pizza joint. After high school attended a community college studying chemistry before settling on health care for a career. Palmer College of Chiropractic was chosen as the next stop in education. Graduating in 1976 with honors, He then attended Upper Iowa University and studied business. Private practice started in late 1977. In the mid-eighties while running a multi doctor practice an opportunity arose writing software manuals for a California software company. Retiring after 40 years of Chiropractic practice, he now writes books of fiction.
Over his Chiropractic career he published professional articles and software manuals. His wife of 30 years, Donna, also acts act as an advisor and editor of the fantasy book series.
H.D. has always loved fantasy book series like the Wheel of Time and The Sword of Truth. When he retired from Chiropractic practice, he looked forward to the time required to develop a strong storyline and create rich characters you care about as the reader. He and Donna in their free time enjoy the great outdoors, hiking and gardening. They live in Port Byron, Illinois on two acres and love watching the wildlife there.

Follow the adventures of Nathan the Tinker and his mage allies in the search for magic artifacts that will lead to the lost lands. The Silver Tower threatens the three kingdoms with its evil magic. Follow his eight wheeled Giant Coach that magically is bigger on the inside than the outside. As the Tinker travels the King’s Road from town to town selling his wares, he meets some amazing people that lead to adventures none of them had ever expected. Soon he is embroiled and drawn into the battles between kingdoms. Certain magic artifacts are being searched for by the parties waging war on one another. A female warrior of the Sky Rock Clan is befriended by the Tinker, and they become strong allies. She flies on the back of a giant condor and kills trolls and ogres for fun! A half giant blacksmith also becomes a trusted comrade in the quest.
The Third book of the series has the Sundown Tribe moving to the new Mystery Waters. The Sultan’s sister fortunately can speak with the dead and learns of a buried pyramid in the northern Scarlet Desert. It may contain magic artifacts that will be needed for a future conflict. A Gold Dragon and his female rider plays a key role in this book. The Dragon discovers a magic anomaly in the south of Elyneas that is draining life and magic from the Elven kingdom. It will require many different races to become allies to fight the evil caused by a Demon from the underworld. Many pieces to this puzzle must be solved to succeed. Different races must cooperate to succeed.
In the conclusion of the Tinker series, we find Nathan, the Tinker, and his comrade Gunter sitting at the open gates to the Shimmering Forest. The lost homeland of the Tinkers and Wind Walkers. Magic is strong here and the forest is filled with beauty and wonder. There are many dangers lurking for the traveling Tinker and Gunter. They carry a pink dragon egg that should hatch at the next full moon. It will be the first Lunar Dragon born for a thousand years and will bring change to everyone. Wizards rule over the land and have enslaved descendants of the Tinkers and Wind Walker tribes that did not heed the exile four hundred years before. They bear the Mark on their foreheads and are slaves to the magic class.
